Dredging is due to wrap up at the end of December 2025.
The so called “clown car” is the boom for the dredging crane that requires that it sound every time it swings so no one gets killed or has a workplace injury.
This is a work safe policy.
The federal government has applied and been granted a noise bylaw exemption by the City of Richmond until the end of December to complete this important work.
We are sorry for the inconvenience but this is a federal goverment project.
