Boat Ramp

Our boat ramp is located at 36 dyke road, Richmond and is in a fenced compound at the south foot of No. 2 Road (called Richmond Camp).  The fee for launching a vessel at the boat ramp is $16.00 / calendar day (taxes included).

There are 19 stalls measuring 50 feet long by 10 feet wide for parking your vehicle and trailer.

Boat ramp tickets can be purchased onsite using the Diamond Parking kiosk.  Methods of payment are; credit card and pay by phone.  The lot number is 1709.

*NOTE* – the gates to Richmond Camp and the boat ramp area are closed at approximately 10:00 PM every night and reopen at approximately 6:00 AM the next morning. If you find the gates locked when you pull your vessel up the ramp, please call our on-duty operations staff at 778-228-9259 to be let out.

Update on the Chilcotin River, 

The area on notice is BC Inland Waterways and Lakes.

The NAVWARN was issued yesterday to support awareness to people recreating and/or working on the Fraser River.

There is potential for the debris to travel the entire length of the Fraser River, from the confluence with the Chilcotin River all the way to the Pacific Ocean

The actual debris volume that will make it past the debris trap is unknown.

  • All Mariners should use caution navigating, especially at night.
  • Recreational craft of all types should avoid navigating Fraser River and its Delta until conditions clear.
  • Mariners navigating in the Salish Sea should expect debris on and below the surface
